Teng Mingtang

Title: Associate Professor

Graduated with a master's degree from Tsinghua University in 2009.

Research Direction: Research on the History and Theory of Art and Design.

In 2011 and 2015, he was awarded the title of "My Favorite Teacher" at Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

In 2014, the paper "Carved Patterns - The Fading Away Tianjin Folk Brick Carving Art" was published in the core journal *Art* magazine, and he received the scientific research award for high-level papers from Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

In 2014, he received the award certificate as the third author of the Excellent Achievements Award in Social Sciences of Tianjin.

He was rated as excellent in the college assessment for two consecutive years.

In terms of scientific research: He presided over one project of the Tianjin Bureau of Culture; presided over one project of the university fund; participated in one national-level project, one project of the Ministry of Education, one project of the Tianjin Philosophy and Social Sciences, and four projects of the Tianjin Bureau of Culture.

He has publicly published more than 20 professional papers of various types, totaling about 100,000 words. Among them, many papers were published in national Chinese core journals or important journals such as *Decoration*, *Art*, *Film Literature*, and *Sculpture*.
