Ji Xianghong

Engaged in the teaching, research and design practice of the major of visual communication design;

Lectures on the courses of the visual communication design major for undergraduate students in universities.

Research Direction of the Teacher: Visual Communication Design

Academic Achievements:

In terms of teaching: Undertakes undergraduate courses such as *Logo Design*, *Packaging Design*, and *Advertising Copywriting*. Actively explores teaching reforms, presides over a number of teaching reform projects, organically combines teaching and scientific research, and has achieved remarkable teaching results.

Currently presides over the "11th Five-Year Plan" Educational Science Research Project of Tianjin Higher Education Society; presides over the "12th Five-Year Plan" Higher Education Science Research Project of Tianjin Higher Education Society and the Research Plan Project on the Undergraduate Teaching Quality and Teaching Reform of Regular Higher Education Institutions in Tianjin.

In terms of scientific research:

Presides over one project of the National Planning for Philosophy, Social Sciences and Arts; presides over one Youth Fund Project of the Humanities and Social Sciences Research of the Ministry of Education in 2007; presides over one project funded by the Research Planning of Philosophy and Social Sciences in Tianjin;

Presides over one project of the Art Planning in Tianjin; participates in a number of projects of the National Planning for Philosophy, Social Sciences and Arts and research projects at or above the provincial and ministerial level. The scientific research achievements won the Third Prize of the 13th Outstanding Achievements in Social Sciences in Tianjin in 2013.

In terms of publishing papers and compiling textbooks:

In recent years, a total of more than 30 papers have been published, one textbook has been edited as the chief editor, and participated in compiling and publishing several monographs, combining theory with teaching practice. Among them, the textbook *Logo and Corporate Image Design* edited as the chief editor has received a good social response and sales performance since its publication, and has been well received by peer teachers and industry experts.
