Introduction

Graduated from the Department of Industrial Art Engineering of Tianjin Institute of Light Industry (now known as Tianjin University of Science and Technology) in 1990.

Obtained a master's degree from the School of Fashion and Art of Tianjin Polytechnic University in 2001.

Obtained a doctor's degree from the Department of Oriental Art, School of Liberal Arts, Nankai University in 2008. Currently, he/she is a member of the Chinese Aesthetics Society, a member of the Tianjin Aesthetics Society, a member of the China Fashion Designers Association, and the head of the Department of Fashion of the School of Art and Design, Tianjin University of Science and Technology.

Having been engaged in the theoretical and practical teaching in the field of fashion design for many years, he/she has rich design practice and teaching experience.

Won the first prize in the first Teaching Basic Skills Competition for Young Teachers of Tianjin University of Science and Technology and the second prize in the sixth Teaching Basic Skills Competition for Young Teachers in Tianjin.

In recent years, he/she has presided over and completed a number of provincial-level, bureau-level, university-level and horizontal cooperation scientific research projects.

He/She has compiled and published three monographs, namely *Aesthetics of Hanfu*, *Fashion Design Strategy* and *Fashion Advertising*, and one national "12th Five-Year Plan" textbook, *Practice of Fashion Merchandise Planning*. He/She has published more than twenty papers in national important journals such as *Art Observation*, *Decoration*, *Traditional Chinese Opera Art* and *Packaging Engineering*.

Guided students to receive nominations for the Newcomer Award, Excellence Awards for the Newcomer Award, as well as several gold, silver and bronze awards in multiple competitions.

Won the honorary title of Excellent Instructor in the Macau International Souvenir Design Competition in 2013.
