Qi Suping
Born in 1970, from Shanxi Province. Obtained a doctorate degree from Zhejiang University in 2004. The research direction is landscape ecological planning and design. From January to April 2004, worked as a visiting scholar in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Iowa State University in the United States;
From December 2008 to May 2009, served as a visiting scholar in the Department of Landscape Architecture at Mississippi State University in the United States.
Main Research Direction: Urban public environment and landscape design.
As the first author and supervisor of postgraduate students, more than 30 academic papers have been published, and participated in the publication of 6 works.
In 2013, was selected into the Cultivation Plan of Middle-aged and Young Backbone Innovative Talents in Tianjin.
In 2014, won the honorary title of the first "Good Teachers and Helpful Friends - The Best Tutor in My Mind" of Tianjin University of Science and Technology.
Currently serves as a member of the Committee for Urban Planning of Foreign Countries in China, a deputy to the Second People's Congress of Tianjin Binhai New Area, a member of the Urban Construction and Environmental Protection Committee of the Standing Committee of the People's Congress of Tianjin Binhai New Area, and the deputy director of the Science and Technology Committee of the Tianjin Municipal Committee of the China Democratic League.
