College Welcomes the Class of 2026

Faculty, peer advisers and volunteers from the College of Art and Design prepared in advance to welcome the Class of 2026 and assist students as they arrived on campus.

Registration checks, campus directions and question-and-answer services operated throughout the welcome period. The college set up an expedited registration channel and provided care packages containing daily necessities and study supplies to students with financial difficulties and others in need.

Support for Students and Families

College leaders visited the welcome stations, reviewed operations and spoke with new students and their families. They asked about students' adjustment and accommodation, answered questions about programs, academic development and campus life, and offered guidance for the students' transition to university.

The services and conversations helped new students and their families become familiar with the college and campus.

Representatives of the Class of 2026 said the efficient registration process, helpful welcome services and artistic atmosphere eased their initial uncertainty. They said they looked forward to concentrating on their studies, taking part in creative practice and pursuing their artistic goals.

Parent representatives said the organization of registration and the work of faculty and volunteers gave them confidence as their children began university life. They expressed hope that the students would become more independent, deepen their professional knowledge and broaden their perspectives.

The college encouraged students to use their university years to develop ideas, skills and creative confidence.

At the start of this new stage, the college wished the Class of 2026 continued curiosity, commitment to creative practice and steady progress in art and design.
