College Reviews Classes and Training Facilities on First Day of Fall Semester

On August 31, the first day of the fall semester of the 2026-2027 academic year, the College of Art and Design leadership inspected classes and reviewed renovation work at the metalworking training site. The visits followed TUST's fall-semester work conference and supported implementation of the university's Pioneer Program.

Reviewing Classroom Operations

College leaders visited classrooms to review faculty attendance, student attendance, classroom discipline and teaching equipment. They found classes operating as scheduled, with faculty teaching and students participating. The leadership asked departments to continue improving classroom instruction, academic culture and values education across the curriculum, with teaching quality maintained throughout the student development process.

The leadership planned to continue classroom visits during the first week of the semester to review teaching conditions, identify operational issues and coordinate solutions.

Upgrading the Practical Training Platform

The group then inspected renovation of the metalworking training site, including progress on construction, spatial planning, proposed functions, equipment and future teaching arrangements. College leaders asked the responsible units to improve coordination and accelerate the work so that the facility can better support practical training, competitions and creative projects.

Teaching Priorities for the New Semester

The college will continue to refine teaching supervision, strengthen teaching and learning practices, and improve practical teaching platforms under the university's 3510 Strategic Initiative and Pioneer Program.

The college will use these measures to improve teaching, practice-based education and student development during the new semester.
