The major of Environmental design was founded in 1999 and began to train master students in environmental design in 2006. This major focuses on the integration of art and technology, and aims to train students to become environmental design professionals with solid professional knowledge, professional skills and strong innovative spirit through the study of indoor and outdoor environmental design knowledge. In recent years, the students of this major have won many awards, including "China Good Creativity and National Digital Art Design Competition", "Tianjin Youth Art Exhibition", "Zhongbei" National College Students Environmental Design Competition and "Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei" college design graduation design Exhibition, etc. Undergraduates have obtained a number of authorized patents and published a number of academic papers.
Training objectives:This major aims to cultivate the all-round development of morality, intelligence, physical, beauty and labor, adapt to the needs of the industry and local social and economic development, have good ideological quality, humanities and social science accomplishment and professional ethics, have solid professional knowledge and skills, pay attention to the integration of art and technology, and have innovative design thinking and sustainable design concept. Be able to use modern design techniques to engage in indoor and outdoor space environment design, be familiar with relevant technologies and practice methods, and be able to engage in interior design, architectural decoration design, environmental landscape planning and design, design research and development, management, research and other work in enterprises and institutions in the fields of architectural decoration engineering and design, environmental planning and design, exhibition design, etc. High-quality applied talents with comprehensive environmental design ability and strong innovative spirit and practical ability.
